Insect Repellents

We supply active ingredient Saltidin which has been developed in view of environmental health and safety. It is also known as Icaridin and Picaridin.

Saltidin is even suitable for pregnant women and small children because it has low absorption rate and it is non-hazardous, non-irritant and non-skin-sensitizing. It also does not contain any preservatives which are very harmful to humans.

Saltidin is a synthetic insect repellent proven to be harmless to humans. The purpose of this product is to prevent diseases from spreading through vectors which is also the goal of EPA. WHO of the United Nations also recommend that we protect against malaria, dengue and Chikungunya fever.

The Canadian Pediatric Society noted that the repellent containing Saltidin is considered the first choice for travelers six months to 12 years of age. A repellent that contains up to 20% of Saltidin is considered safe and effective. It lasts for 7 to 12 hours once applied, PMRA approved.

Under the European Biocidal Products Regulation, however, Saltidin is “biocidal active substance” due to their strict testing program.

Insect repellents containing Saltidin are marketed in many countries and they have been successfully approved in more than 40 countries. They are sold in the form of pump sprays, aerosols, gels, creams, sprays, lotions, wet wipes and wax sticks in supermarkets. Saltidin is non-sticky and non-greasy on the skin after application.
